Wedding Season

Every school day my daughter will ask me whether tomorow,  and aday afater tomorrow and next, she needs to go to school or not.
With a hope that mummy will utter the five words sentence: "Its a Weekend", or "Tomorrow Is A School Holiday".
Many times she asked when is the long weekend, aka school holiday.
But when school holidays comes, she has regretfully said to me that, "Why is it school holiday now?"

This school holiday a niece in Dungun got married so the whole new clan including a brother working in Kuwait gathered there.
Since its a peak wedding season, the aqad has to be scheduled on the nite before the mass kenduri.
The mass/reception took place succesfully on Saturday.

And here are some of the photos that I managed to shoot coz me myself were busied lending my hands foot etc with the chores, the never ending tasks at the wedding reception.

Online Back!

Uhhh..ahhhh....ooohhhh....
Blogger has new settings. I loved it and it showed how long I've been offline.
Being online again feels like its been few moons ago.

My generous sister has borrowed me her BB.
Settled down in my late dad's house with few internal organisation problems gave me countless headache.
And I resorted that a trip to KL (yes, I missed KL!!) may cure it but Mr Hubby kept posponing it that its only him who showed up in KL at last.
Mere comforting words are ; "Dont worry next school holiday I'll bring u there".
And its school holiday now though!
The only person in KL was only him leaving me stucked here with the rebelling daughter.

The furnitures and fittings have been arranged.
Not nicely, not to my fulfillment.
Because we have internal politics problem arouse only when my dad passed away.
So its true that the true colors of persons will be revealed only few elements are absent.
In my case, my late dad.

Yesterday i have managed to sell off the used packing boxes from the move.
Its weighted 22 kgs with the price of 20c/kilo so I earned $4.50, comparing to my many few years ago earnings!
That only can buy me not more than 2kg of sugar or self-raise-flour.
Talking about earning, financial crisis is strucking me badly and I am wondering how the Greeces are surviving.
So much to wonder, let it be I dont want to have more additional headache.

Upon moving down (or up?) here, some things change and some remain.
Those are.....

My late dad's pet cat also serves as a mouse-chaser still conquers the house and act as if the house is his.

Its still up to him whoever and whenever he wants to date

My clack in the morning alarm comes from the fon alarm. Followed by the birds sing.
I can see a hornbill on my neighbor rooftop directly from my room window.
How beautiful the creature is, and I still no need to go to bird park.

Remember this 2-tier egg hanger?
Somebody has acted vandally by spraying off my cock drawing.
Whoever did this really doesnt value his life well.
And he derserves only to live alone in the jungle!!!

Other changes and remains will follow up in my few next entries.....

I am Internetless

Asalamualaikum, Ola All Gorgeus!!

Since my move back to hometown, my internet has been absent.
Moreover, Wlh's daddy also left his lappy in KL office.
My lappy?
Year ago he sent it to fella friend for a repair but never seriously pick it up.
Me am wondering ever since why he was so ignorant, which a question of is it because a non-income generator aka duo-breadwinner, then the one does not deserve a lappy at all?
Because all I do was only online shopping, blogging, blog hopping etc etc?
Besides I also search for infos.
Not to deny, the net maintains my sound mind
Without it I may be in other state.
Then if that happens, nobody will take on the blame.
Yeah I am not blaming anyone, just seek cooperation.

Since (again) I am blogging directly from a niece's house in Kuantan, there are still some story I want to share here.
But without photos, a post or two wont be complete.
So lets postpone the posting then.

After all I am blessed to be alive.....

Keep reading readers, many thanks !!!

I am Back Home

Last month the whole family has moved back to my late dad's home at Kerteh.
The absence of lappy made me really bored, but not with nothing to do.
I still have piles of boxes yet to be unpacked and put into proper place.
Gosh, in this big house where space is unlimited, I have shortage of storage cabinets to organise everything.

And also last month's 18th saw that little kiddo attending the Pre-School at Kg Baru.
So goes the morning wake-up call and other tedious routine,by the resistant lazy fella.

The four cats also suffered of a long trip (even though its only 4 hours) nausea.
The resettlement is so damn tiring.
Here goes the same routine of packing, lifting, unpacking and reorganising. Argghhh....

Costly Prank Joke aka Vandalism

Yes, the words are "lu mati lu langsi" excerpted from a local movie.
No parts of the whole right body were spared from the itchy hands wilderness.
If anyone would like to practice on their creativity they should use their cars as a practice board instead.
Rather than doing irresponsible act at the cost of others, in this case me and my hub.

Or anybody want to express any dissappoinment, disssatisfaction over car over-taking, miss-parking, bad debt, rejected love, annoying horny cats howling, please come forward like a true gentleman (man or woman).

Or anybody who feels as being discriminate over us for having the chance to drive this semi-superbcar and enjoy the true meaning of pleasure of driving a real stable car.

You know where to find us, we will be waiting for you with open arms.
(I will be holding open arm but I am not sure of my hub, he was really pissed off lately)

He/She/They should bear all the monetary damages not to mention the physcological damages since I 've been parading the whole town in the car which has attracted unwanted glances from our caring society who have given me a very prejudice looks as if they were saying that I am a very bad and rude driver to the point that my car was scratched so!!!!!

Honestly speaking, I myself personally have been bullied by other drivers but to bully others in return is not my principle.

No matter how big the machine you are manuevering, to show off its power unreasonably is not my main concern for driving.

HUarrrrrrrghhhhhhhh.........

P/s: This entry may sound sarcastic only to those who commit the voluntary-self-suicide of the above action.

P/s: God is so just for not creating me as a human who could turn green when mad. Amin Allah!!

What Have I Done Wrong ?????

Some wrongful acts sometime justify themselves.
Some become puzzles that remain unsolved in our life's X-file..
But I am banging my head to this incident that occured to me last June, Saturday the 4th to be precise.

It was a busy day since I was entertaining my out-of-town visiting sister to here and there.
My final stop was the night market at AU2.
And I still remembered we arrived home at the same time the Maghrib azan been called.

The car was parked in front of my house, next to who-knows whom Wira, who suddenly has parked also in front of my house too.
So, is the Wira relates to the incident? Only God knows, as Kid Rock sang : "Only God knows why...".

yes, my car has been ambushed again.
Its midnight that I was asked by my late-returned husband of the condition of the car.
What happened to the car? Who has you done bad to today???", he asked in anger to the innocent me!
I rushed to the car and almost faint to find out that the whole right body has been scratched with words and straight-and-wavey-lines.

What else people are envied of me, or us that our car has became the victim, again, for the 2nd time!!!
The incident still lingered freshly in our mind that sometimes people around us can be so loose minded.

We are living in a world that was sorrouded by crazy people who are too shy to attend themselves to the proper home, to be precise, the asylum.
Outside we are looking at others as normal as us, but inside, ONLY GOD KNOWS who they really are.
Their true faces can be so intimidating, so scary.
Can be as scary as monsters, mean monsters.

For the wrongdoer(s), you owe us so much. Even though he or she or they are not reading this!!

Images of the tragedy will be uploaded later.

Home at Last!!!

Last week before heading back to KB, I managed to distribute the missing cat ad to every postbox in 4 lanes of my neighborhood.
Its really sweating I can conclude now it was killing two birds with a stone.
Because all the efforts were paid off and I had pumped more oxygen into my lung by walking.
And two vets clinics in Tmn Melawati and Pinggiran Ukay.
Given the time constraint upon blik kg plan, more ads were copied and folded to be distributed to the remaining lanes/blocks.
Allah has tested me in faith and calm.

1st, never, ever to give up.
Even my daughter said : " Tomorrow Abang Comel (the cat) will return home!" so confidently.
And my hubby was criticised by me for saying : " Maybe fate has decided that he only with us for 6 years!". Spank on you darling !!!
Yes, he should learn not to loose hope so easily.
How come he didnt in his business but gave up on the cat???

The verdict, when I was on the way up to the city last nite my brother who was home at UB suddenly called and informed that a good samaritan form the neighborhood has brought Comel home in one piece, with only minor cuts from cats fights of course.
To him I asked him to get their numbers.
This morning when I got home, I just shouted his name off from the gate wihout even considering that my neighbors would call me 'mad ladt etc'.

Besides his shabby look and the dirt, he has developed a pus on his ear as a result of infection from disclosed cut.
So then I rushed him to the nearby vet, which he became reluctant as usual.
He refused to get off the cage to be laid on exam bar for the vet to check on his real injury.
Then when she tried to clean the pus, he gave the defensive sound or 'GGrrrrr' ready to strike.
As a result, we (me n the doc) resolved that he needs to be on anesthetic for the whole body cleaning.
So he was boarded for a nite.

I was in mixed emotions; joy, blessed, thankful, sad, mad, etc, etc so I couldnt manage to shoot even a photo of him.

But, I was so relieved to have him again, thankful to Allah for giving me more opportunity to continue what I did, and sending me a good person who is responsible, helpfulvenough to lend me their hands even though we didnt know each other.
Insyaallah Comel will heal off.

Thanks to many invisible helping hands and friend for their cats networks.
Alhamdulillah!!! I bowed to You!

The whole family is still grieving over the lost of my late dad last 11th.
Suffering of severe chest pain and being kicked out of hospital even though he was in deep need of doctor care, finally he rested in piece.
What to do, our free government health delivery system is still in poor condition.
Sigh....

After few days returning to KL, our dearest cat, Comel was lost, or missing.
This is the 1st incident after almost 7 years been with us.
Whenever he ecsaped from the cage before, he never failed to return home.
But this time its really fishy.
He must have been caught and kidnapped, and traveled to other place outside neighborhood, OR, he was locked in cage by whoever they think they are.

I am in the midst of distributing the missing cat ad throughout the neighborhood.
Comel, being the cutest cat decsribed by most people, was easily identifiable.

He was so adorable, with charming look, but one cannot really go near or touch him, he may scratch (not bite) in a blink of seconds, leaving the victim (like me) a bloody, painful cut.

Anyone nearer, or far, who might have glimps of him, please let me know.

I AM TIRED OF LOSING, even though you may say : "Its LIfe!"

Passport Holders (PH) Part II

********Continuation from previous Part I********

After buzzing and spinning my head to be more creative, and finding more inspiration for improvement, I decided to let nature plays its role.
Yes, improvise through experience.
To gain more experience, we have to do, or imagining the whole process over and over again.
Then the new idea will ***bling in seconds, or next day, next week, or worse; never!

But repetitious tasks were not my interest, nor copying from other's whole idea.
I prefer to modify the task, or come out with something new.
And its so unbelievable that achieving it was so easy given I was not born in the same group as Albert Einstein, or, Marie Curie, etc, etc.
Yes, you don't need to have a degree in Engineering, or a Noble prize recipient, or a genius to sew one.
God eased all the way. And He will always.

So I have sewed another 6 passport holders to be given away to my dearest friends who loved (and have ample opportunity to travel abroad unlike pity me), and my sister and her hubby, and my neighbour's Indonesian maid.
~Yes, all the six while the 7th has been given away to the said maid.
I deserve an overseas vacation, didn't I?

All in the hope that the holders are becoming very useful and handy to them to keep their passports in a groovy holders.

I was doing a small spring cleaning towards my purses, and bags and related stuffs when I came across two delicious bright colors Hermes leather purses organiser brought years ago.

I wonder if people can survive these shocking shades from Hermes (and not to mention also LV glaming fuchsia bag), why not to the red polka-dot, and other colorful and fancy small petite passport holders???
I had no problem, but dont know their tastes much.

~I was trying to make an 18" bias tape with this polka dots in this gorgette/polyester fabric that it wont stand the press from a heated iron.
+++Couldnt produce a seam pleat at all.
+++Lesson learnt is other than cotton or polycotton, the DIY bias tape wont work on other silky or unporust surface.

~a red bear fabric for the baby

~the clear ID window so that Immigration Officer be able to read the details

~these fabrics themed in red and black "Hanging Clothes" from fabric fanatics too

~the red and black have a plastic window made of rigid sheet

~juggling from my sewing activity, I still have to entertain the lil one who has 'played hockey' aka ponteng to school for 2 weeks in a row!

SORRY you all had to read all the long, detail, mumblings. Hey, thats what blogs are for!

Passport Holders (PH) Part I

With more tools available for DIY, I have started my little small humble sewing project with passport holders.

~The inspiration was from LC passport holder that I bought few years ago from Mrs June Miller.

For a dummy starter like me, my free advise is to sketch the outline from the original (in my case the black LC) over an A4 paper.
If some measurement doesnt fit enough, you may need to extend the paper using some cellophene tape.
Extend your imagination a little bit wild (?) to imagine for other inlays corners or pockets if desired. Also imagine the fold to make it like a book fold.

Then provide for some seam allowances for, maybe, 1 inch each edge.
After that, we can start to cut the fabric according to the measurement calculated from the paper plan/drawing/layout.
And sew with patience!.
Sorry I didnt attach a step-by-step instruction.

And, voila, my 1st PH was this:

~in green forest fabric made of thick cotton sourced from lovely Kelly of http://fabricfanatics.blogspot.com/

Few mistakes were made, and I admitted it.
But believe me, as time goes by, I improvised.
So the learning curve was never stopped.
For 2nd, 3rd and so on, some near-to-perfect outcomes attained.

~the inner layout

~I stitched a readymade label to it too! sourced from same as above

~the snap-on-button I install using the pliers and other tools supplied in the kit

OVERALL, I have just partly-justified all the money spend are worthy every penny, and for good cause to me, only, for the moment.

DIY and Sewing Tools Shopping

I managed to be to Jalan Kenanga last week to purposely hunt for some wooden kid-size hanger. Yeah, to hang the sewed peg bags.
After finally securing a decent parking space, Phhew!
Parking is a main problem for shoppers that regulars would agree with me.

After browsing two shops, only, because the lil one (yes, where else to dump that excess baggage?) kept complaining that its very hot, I finally found the target item.
Sadly, not the exact one, but a tolerable subtitute, at RM1.80 per piece.
I grab only 15 considering I am gonna be there again for more additions.

~Arghhhh, another headache for parking space hunting...

After that I zoomed to Ampang's Cottage Patch.
This time to buy some rotary cutter, button cover kits, etc atc.
And I end up buying all the dreamed wish list totalling to RM300++.
After folkart, this new extra hobby is money consuming too!

~45mm & 60mm Olfa rotary cutter, Prym eyelets plier, press fasteners, cover button kits, 1" bias tape maker

~1st product: 18mm fabric cover buttons to match with the pegs

~and since my threads are increasing, I added another level to the hanger..
