A Reminder To Loved One

I was reading newspaper one sweet day and found this ad .
After countless of sweet talk and coaxing using whatever channel available (even asked my daughter to whisper the message 'Dady Quit Smoking!' into his ear), I came to no end.
Message taken, action nil.

So my idea is either to redo the same poster on big poster paper or, have it printed in the A3 size.
Then posted on our house walls, few frequently passed-by places, like on the way to bathroom, kitchen and bedroom.
Here is the message that still didnt get/pass through.....

~Not only 'Dont Smoke Near Us' but consequently ' Dont Smoke At All'

So, what say uolls????

Sorry to My Nieces & Nephews

To all of you out there, your humble aunt would like to express a deep apology for not being able to give you all the green envelope last Raya.
The story starts in 2nd week of Ramadhan, when...

1)My car (even though your Uncle Nik paid for the monthly instalment) has been bumped from behind somewhere in Wangsa Maju.

Even though the damaged was totally claimed from the party that bumped it, but right after collecting it from the workshop, we found out that there were some burnt-out smell came out from the car after been used.

So, upon check-up, we found out that the tyres has been eaten by the rims due to imbalance.
Not to take much risk (even though, again, its only been a year utilisation), Uncle N has changed all the four tyres and has some balancing done, which has used up our Raya money on a day before we went back to kg.
Even a bank cant help for this weekend cheque encashment.
(this left me to blank as where to gorge the duit raya from for you all..)

2)Your self-employed aunt didnt manage to send to tailor for this Raya Baju Kurung, so I ended up buying : my georgeous aka down-to-earth turquoise caftan (no photos), and these lovely maxis for raya, and also for the lil girl who has few pairs too. Still, I missed the real Raya thingy: rantai emas bagan (so kg!), new shoes, new et, etc...(so greedy!)
Basically, all my 'this month' ration has gone on the purchase.

~the maxis (not that telco!)bought

3)I am humbly confess: Uncle N didnt give me extra $$$ for distribution.

All I remembered that was, when I was working he will shout to all his nephews and nieces : "You all, go and get yor angpows from your aunt (me) ". So unfair, isnt it?

Even though I have no right to complain , still I am defending mine.

****But, honestly, I am proud of you all to have such a pride not like other kids who are begging for angpows from the old (er ) like us. No such act was seen last Raya, bravo!

Many Faces of Mummy's Little Clown

This entry is dedicated to my one and only lovely daughter Waielah who has turned 4 last Sept 8th...

~last Ramadhan, mostly she was caught napping as if after been running for 5kms!

~anywhere can be a comfy bed

~in a way too-comfortable-censored sleeping position

~ she posed with 'Peace' already but still has no idea what does it meant literally

~ she loved to get her small fingers then the face dirty with newspaper ink, or daddy's bikes lubricant, or mummy's paint
~ When she has been naughty and scolded by mummy, the corner end is her rehab to sob! and sob!
~ The sofas are tired of her tumbling and for being treated as her trampoline
Mummy's verdict : If only they could scream off the pain
~whenever possible after every new sandal buying, she will wear it indoor on the reason that those in Doraemon worn their slippers indoor too!
Mummy's verdict: too much watching Doraemon!

~She shouldnt be caught near the powder pot if not she will be like this one!
Mummy's verdict: To keep all those bottle or pots (and make-ups) on high and unreachable storage cabinets

~she inherits one of mummy's passions..

~Peace, again..

~she has been caught many times story telling to invisible audience lately..
Mummy's verdict : Its OK for every child to have imaginary friends (even child psychologist would agree)
~she will give her best pose to every camera clicking

~with an up-to-date fashion taste

~when caught red-handedly committed the 'wrongdoings' , 1st response is to give this cheer innocent look

~every bath must be in tub if she insists so

~or she could end up in the pool in the backyard next to the cats' cages

Waielah, if you could read this (even though you havent mastered the A B C), Mummy wants you to know that despite of all your autas (lies or cover-up),Mummy always treasure our moments together....
And years to come...
Happy Being 4 Years Old!!!

Help (s) Wanted

After trying at few deco supplies shops, my search for a egg rack made of MDF board that has 3 tiers, with 10 egg holes per tier came to a dead-end.
A friend of mine, a baker affectionado who like to bake cakes, cuppies, savoury pies and etc has requested an egg rack that can occupy 30 eggs (a stack of egg size purchased from shop)because she can easily finish the eggs and monitor the quantity for restocking. Yes, her home-based business is uprising.

So, for those who can help, please let me know of the carpenter whereabout. I know out there, there are those who have this knowledge and are willing to share, and some who wouldnt care at all.
Talking about sharing, people can easily utter 'sharing is caring' but when it comes to do it personally in a real world situation, only God knows the story!!
~The egg rack should look like this (but before been painted on them)
Noticed that this rack has only 2 tiers, to occupy 20 eggs.
I am looking for 3 tiers with the same capacity for each tier.
Wouldnt it be too heavy to hang, then?

Anybody??? (pls leave details in the comment for me to contact..., many thanks in advance!)

(Amateur) Daisy Painted Shovel

Today is Friday and AU2 Jusco is having a Special Member Day to tap off money from me (ha ha ha ha..)

Yesterday I had finished varnishing the two blue shovels painted with my amateur-daisy painting.
So amateur that I had to comfort myself with a thought that I will improve over time and it will get better and less eye soring after I have my real painting class on the subject: daisy (ies)...
And the fact that I had been infected with a 'hard-to-satisfy-person' disease from my ex-boss.
The whole office will agree with me that he is a perfectionist that everything we do is never near to perfect, nonetheless to perfect!

Next week they(shovels) will be available for sales by my sister.

I am expecting her and a niece family over this weekend, in which they are arriving in few hours from now.

Till then, chow..I had so many things to do to be a near-perfect host!!

Some Enamel Can

I was jumping to joy after been told by my sister that she managed to sell all of the merchandise passed to her.
Many thanks to her effortless sales ..
While procuring some stocks, I realised many are not my own craft made.
Sadly, I only have these limited enamel vases to be sold..

~the gold curve embossed creme enamel watering can cum vase without stout

~the flower embossed creme enamel watering can vase with stout

~the creme-coloured duos
~the flower embossed raindrop enamel watering can cum vase with stout

~the flower embossed raindrop enamel watering can cum vase without stout

~the raindrop-coloured duos

~the strawberry mini pail
Back in UB, I still had few item still in commisioning.
As other FA practitioners know, painting only can be done in the right mood at the right time, if not : disaster!!
Agree?

My House is Crowded

What to say, even moving to a bit bigger house (2 times the previous smaller size)I am still juggling between spaces for countless things around.
what are those? Well , with my new folk art hobby, I had many brushes, paints, frames, wooden plaques, enamels, and other related gadgets (tubs, etc).

And I am having many cotton and curtains fabrics for future projects (all well plan inside my head, just waiting for execution time, when will tat be?)

With idle enamels around, my daughter has made full utilise of them...

~drumming!!!!

Teacher's Day Wood Plaque Project

After spending a week at kg while attending my niece wedding at Balok Kuantan, I am now back to KL for action.

Frankly I've been ignoring folkart for a while, with lots , lots of excuse.
Firstly, almost all my mediums have finished.
Then after charging a card (coz I am short of cash, or should I say penniless?), part of my gadgets are half completed.
After that, I realised I have also finished my white gesso.

With the order received fr my two nieces at Kemaman gave me reason to be at the store again.
Having gesso in hand, the search were then aimed to 19 pcs of wooden plaques at the most economical cost (coz they are student with limited budget), saw me off to OU, the Curve, Midvalley and then back again to the Curve.

After paying 4 parking tickets, and few times Touch n Go swiping, the hunting day was called off.
Mission completed, and me, the lil one and my brother lifted our heavy fat ass home.
We arrived home safely and satisfied.

So, days were filled with the chores, from preparing the woods surfaces, gessoing, back ground colouring, painting, and varnishing.
~the woods ready to be coloured for back ground ~for wording insertion, with head banging of which brush to use for the little small words~after words been inserted

~zoom on one of the so deeply humble piece

Today I just realised that I need a Medium that I should get during earlier store visit, hargggg....

A Therapeutic Theraphy

Been just recuperated from bad fever I am having less appetite toward foods.
So in house cooked food is a big no-no, i felt like vomitting.
Everyday food are either eat out or tapau.

First nite was at Madam Lim's @ AEON AU2.Poor pity yummy fried rice I just managed to eat a quarter of it with a help from the tiny lil girl.
Looks like she loved the outing much rather than the eating activity itself.

~being naughty cum lazy, she loved to be on stroller

Last nite before hubby went for a long outstation we dined out at the Titiwangsa Lake Restoran Nelayan. All went ok except for the deep fried squid in medium serving (what a waste) because the dipping flour was way too salty..how to eat that?really spoilt my mood and slumpy appetite..

Good news came in sms fr MJ informing the MJ Cardmember Previleges Sales. So today both buckled up and off to OU where I spent half of my remaining credit card limits.

Then to LQ to get niece coming soon wedding gifts, woods plaques, sealers, paints etc and the endless list till Waielah stroller were fulled and almost overturn because of weight disproportionate. ~so the result?because I am a basic human I am half satisfied. My list of unlimited wants is still piling up..

Hi All Bloggers!

Today's entrance is very different rather than my usual.
Been in Account Dept for quite a while during my previous employment where out bound and inbound collections effort were scrutinisely monitered by my Head, I doubt I knew this better just like millions of AR's or collectors out there
So when my money is floating in the bank, today, I straight away clicked on my internet banking.
A very convenient way to loose your money rather than wasting your car fuel, taxi fare, or receiving a summon Love Letter from MPAJ/DBKL for mis-parked.
And also, a reason a collector can question you in return when you are giving them all those melancholics excuses (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/melancholic ) for not being able to pay the bill/due.

So I am partly relieved when their autoreply (I assumed) replied in this within seconds:
( 1 . but lets wait for tomorrow, or a day after tomorrow for their answer)
( 2. Moral of the story : Pay your bill (s). Ha hah ha haa ha hi hi hi he he he he...going insane...)

Delayed Post- Rohaizads' March Birthday Bash Party

~Attending a birthday party could be so much fun for a small kid like her

The event took place last 20th but my lappy was sent for repair and reconfig, so many pictures became untraceable even though the technician did the backuped.
I only managed to transfer these today...
This, made make 'hangin satu badan', imagine the smokes came out from my ears now!!! ~the eldest of the Rohaizads, Umar with his mum's bake Ben-10 cake
~all the way along the party Waielah kept asking and eyeing this cute Barbie Doll Birthday Cake after numerous coaxing from mummy that the cake is not hers
~the fact the she had to wait for the cake to be cut by the birthday girl 1st. Still the Barbie is not for her.
Thanks a zillion to the Rohaizads for having Waielha n mummy at the party........

Mum & Daughter's Project

With my sister-in-law visit to our house my schedule became full with shopping and places to visit list.
A day before she went back to KB, me and my daughter managed to bake some cookies.
And the tricky part was to deco it properly and beautifully with royal icing where Waielah loved to get messy with the colors.
~the teddy bears are the most hot item among the kids. I managed to make only 5 colors variations this time
~After begging and jumping, and good-behaving of course, Waielah got this carousel from LL~and mummy got this...~having this mummy is still aiming for a bigger one but not yet in store fr KKHD~Waielah got a complimentary entrance to Sunway Lagoon for being below 90cm tall but she just liked the pooling activity. All the chances to play the other outdoor games were wasted~after 1.5 years been brought back fr ChatukCak Bangkok market, the onion finally produced the flowers....Am I a bad, really bad gardener?

Small Pails

The pails are not really small, but they are smaller by the watering can featured before.

One of the cons of painting small and titby items like these two, you tend to overpaint few things.
So I am saying to myself, " never mind" and not to expect for perfection for the 1st time (painting small item).

Hopefully I will further improve in future ....

First DIY Painted Watering Can

With the absence of my helpful cum useful telephone camera, I mnissed to shoot the image of the can before the painting was commissioned.
After outflowing few bucks at Low Yat today the phone has been fully operated so I can shoot and post this....
~the tree is the house for the bees's hive. By logic, the bees are way too big compared to the tree, hive and the shovel, but just to make the bees stand out then they have been exaggerate in size , by me of course..~in the garden, there is a wheel barrow, a water-pond fountain, and a bench...
